Jill Suttie received her PsyD from the University of San Francisco and was a licensed psychologist in private practice before turning her attention to writing. Currently, she is a staff writer and contributing editor for Greater Good magazine, a publication of the University of California, Berkeley, where she produces feature articles, essays, and book reviews on the science of prosocial behavior and emotion. Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, Huffington Post, Yes! Magazine, Mindful, and many other publications.
