In the wake of emerging catastrophes, the call for solidarity rings out.
We felt the call in uprisings against police brutality, housing displacement, and growing fascism. We felt the call in rising sea levels, food apartheid, and brittle access to everyday survival. The call for solidarity is shapeshifting, resilient, and invitational. It asks us to find each other. It asks us to imagine new ways to live and begin carving out a better world for each of us and our planet.
SolidarityWorks is Shareable’s new program to meet the moment.
We know a better world is possible. By joining forces with change makers, we can empower communities for collective liberation. We designed SolidarityWorks with and for marginalized communities of color. SolidarityWorks uplifts people and organizations to be vehicles for everyday transformation. We collaborate to create localized social infrastructure of change. We strive to be an ecosystem for solidarity.
