Shareable’s South by Southwest Interactive panel The New Sharing Economy, on Saturday March 12 at 11 am, uses Shareable Magazine and Latitude Research’s 2010 study of the sharing industry as a jumping-off point to examine current sharing trends, consider how we mobilize and socialize, and look to the future of the sharing economy. Featuring Shareable publisher Neal Gorenflo, Itizen co-founder Dori Graff, Zimride co-founder John Zimmer, Latitude Research’s Kim Gaskins and Rentalic.com founder Punsri Abeywickrema, the panel begins at 11am at Salon K of the Hilton, 500 East 4th Street, Austin TX.

Later in the afternoon, Snapgoods, Loosecubes, and Shareable are hosting a casual happy hour meetup at 4 pm at Lustre Pearl, 97 Rainey Street, Austin TX. The SXSW SnapGoods Sharegasms Happy Hour is hosted in partnership with Snapgoods, a NYC-based startup that makes it easy and safe to borrow or rent anything from anyone, and coworking space sharing service Loosecubes. We’re looking forward to hearing your stories of sharing, so RSVP for the happy hour at Eventbrite and say hello.
