Host a ShareFest in Your Community

ShareFests are participatory events designed to connect the local sharing economy that range in size from intimate sharing events within community organizations like timebanks, to large three day public gatherings with over 3,000 people!

ShareFests create a real life model of the world we want, based in sharing, right now in our cities. The transformative experience of sharing is probably the most powerful way to change the story that we don’t have enough and that we need to sell our lives in order to buy happiness. To share is to experience an abundant, caring, people-powered economy.

The movement is growing and a ShareFest can be a powerful way to kickstart the sharing economy in your city.

Since 2014 Shareable has supported individuals, community groups and organizations to host ShareFests in over 50 cities around the world.  Focused on the transformational experience of sharing, these events were co-created by sharing organizations and the public.

The ‘Sharing Movement’ has grown by leaps and bounds, and this year, as a testament to this maturation, local groups have taken the reigns and are independently hosting ShareFests across the globe!

Want to get in on the ShareFest action? Find a ShareFest near you below or host your own. It doesn’t have to be a huge production (but it sure can be if you want!) and we are here to help.
