This month’s event features Tyson Slocum, the director of Public Citizen’s Energy Program, covering energy market regulation. Tyson promotes an equitable energy transition that provides renewable energy and sustainable transportation solutions for working families. He serves on the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Energy & Environmental Markets Advisory Committee, and frequently intervenes before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission representing the interests of households. He has appeared on CNN, MSNBC and The Colbert Report and testified to Congress in 2025, on AI data center energy demand.
