RIPESS is a global network of continental networks committed to the promotion of the social and solidarity economy. RIPESS member networks (Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania) bring together national, local and sectoral networks, thus ensuring a strong territorial anchoring. Its local and global reach gives it the legitimacy to promote the SSE, to foster intercontinental cooperation and to influence policies at different levels. RIPESS has in its genes the will to contribute to systemic and transformative change, showing in particular how the SSE provides answers at the local level to a prevailing system that is clearly showing its limits.
