Laurie Schecter

Laurie Schecter is a native of Hollywood, Florida. She ran her own mail order business as a young woman and is currently owner of two small, award winning, “green” inns. As a small business owner she has tried to model her enterprises using best business practices towards common good ethical values. She has worked in the communities she has lived in as an activist contributing to good government, sustainable development and a healthy planet.  She is co-founder and active board member of a number of non-profit organizations committed to common good values.
