Danielle Klock is the Outreach Manager for Shareable, supporting the development of the Sharing Cities Network by building relationships and making connections among people in communities around the world who are working to build their own resilient and caring local sharing economies while supporting others.
A topographical thinker, Danielle sees the connections among people, information and resources, bringing them together to synthesize new ways to move forward through collaboration and exchange. A mother and activist who calls Ithaca, New York home, she feels a deep sense of place.
Danielle is a social entrepreneur, who has co-founded a timebank (Tompkins Time Traders) and a co-working space (Studio West) in Ithaca, while providing communications, event, and planning support to Triple Bottom Line businesses and high-impact organizations. She currently serves on the board of Local First Ithaca, and is the Vice President of Ithaca Hours, Tompkins County’s local currency. She has co-hosted several swap meets and Really Really Free Markets as an organizer with Share Tompkins, where she has met some of her closest friends, saved a lot of money and diverted tons of usable goods from the landfill while bringing people together.
Danielle is a great listener who is interested in hearing people’s dreams and visions of a compassionate, sustainable world, and helping them connect with the resources they need to see it manifest.
