The Shareable team is excited to announce upcoming events in our Mutual Aid 101 Learning Series and the Cities@Tufts Fall 2015 Colloquium. All events are free, virtual, and open to everyone.

Mutual Aid 101 Learning Series

Shareable launched our Mutual Aid learning series in February 2025. In May, we released a written toolkit covering content from the first four sessions. And now,  the live events continue!

On October 21, in partnership with The Tool Library Alliance, we are hosting “Tool Libraries, Mutual Aid & Community-led Disaster Response.” The event will feature a panel of practitioners from tool libraries and mutual aid groups who will discuss the intersection of resource sharing and mutual aid.

Next, on November 20, we will welcome back writer, teacher, and organizer Dean Spade. This time, Dean will be presenting on navigating conflict and group dynamics—a critical skill for successful mutual aid organizing.

Cities@Tufts

The events continue with a great lineup for our Cities@Tufts Fall 2025 Colloquium. Cities@Tufts, a partnership of Tufts University and Shareable, explores the impact of urban planning on our communities and the opportunities to design for greater equity and justice.

The colloquium will focus on topics like agricultural resistance, environmental justice in communities, “arrested mobility,” and more! Free tickets for all the sessions are now available.
