A flower vendor offers his bounty.

The farmers market bustles.
This year, we’ve seen Mutual Aid in Motion.

Packed to deliver excess goodies to friends and strangers.
Before our hike at Arastradero Preserve. Bounty delivered to Jenny, who has a son months younger than Jake. We're but a link in a chain of hand-me-downs. The rest of our goodies went to Goodwill.
We hit the trail. The baby carriages did surprisingly well on dirt.
A view of South Bay from the top of a hill.
A similar view framed by two scrub oaks.
We head back.
I prepare Jake for his first trip to Shoreline Park in his new-to-us "bike chariot". We couldn't find a used helmet on Craigslist so bought him a new Evil Knevil-styled helmet. It's an inside joke because Jake is precociously cautious.
Our bike jaunt rewarded us with a view of San Francisco Bay at dusk.
A Southern view from the same point. This is a favorite stop of mine at Shoreline Park. It's usually windy, but it was dead calm.
I had just strapped in Jake for the way back. He had been crying, but when I pointed the camera at him, he smiled and kicked his foot up. He's also a precocious ham. Catching dusk with Jake was a perfect way to end the day.
