This is the 4th Bay Delta Bioregional Regeneration Unconference. Each gathering has deepened our network and sparked new collaborations across the region – and we keep coming back because something real happens in these rooms.
At previous unconferences, participants have mapped 100-year visions for the bioregion, explored governance models from sociocracy to citizen assemblies, launched mutual aid networks, and sat with hard questions like “what do we tell our kids about collapse?” and “how do we bring more play into resilience work?” People have found unexpected collaborators, left with renewed energy, and built relationships that continue long after the day ends.
This spring, we’re building on that momentum – and preparing a delegation to the Turtle Island Bioregional Congress in September. We’d love you to be part of what emerges.
Using Open Space Technology, there’s no pre-set agenda. You bring the topics that matter to you – whether that’s local food systems, land stewardship, Indigenous leadership, solidarity economy, bioregional tech, or something we haven’t imagined yet. Our experienced facilitation team holds the structure so you can dive into the conversations that call to you.
Whether you’re running a community garden, organizing mutual aid, working on local policy, or just wondering how to plug in – you belong here. This is your invitation to join a growing network of people committed to a future that works for all life.
What to Expect
Past participants have left with: new collaborators for their projects, concrete next steps for their work, a deeper sense of connection to place and community, and renewed energy for the long haul.
