Credit: Better Than The Van
Shareable readers have recently heard about CASH Music, which connects listeners to artists, and we've heard about CouchSurfing, which connects travelers to local crashpads. Now here's a service that combines the music with the couches: Better Than The Van, which connects bands on tour with places to stay.
From what I can see on the site, this brilliant idea really isn't much more complicated than that. If you'd like to get a feel for the service, check out this segment of KEYE-TV's show "We Are Austin":
