Host a ShareFest

ShareFests are participatory events designed to bring the local sharing economy together. They range in size from small sharing events like clothing swaps to large three-day public gatherings with over 3,000 people!

ShareFests create a real-life model of the world we want, based on sharing, right now in our communities. The transformative experience of sharing is a powerful way to change the story that we don’t have enough and that we need to sell our lives in order to buy happiness. To share is to experience an abundant, caring, people-powered economy.

Since 2014, Shareable has helped individuals, community groups, and organizations host these events in over 50 cities around the world. Focused on the transformational experience of sharing, these events are typically co-created by local organizations and the public.  

The movement is growing and a ShareFest can be a powerful way to kickstart the sharing economy in your city.
