Join the international celebration of local communities taking action for a more regenerative, just, and inclusive world! The 2nd annual North American Day of Sustainable Communities will be held in partnership with ECOLISE and Regenerative Communities Alliance/GEN-NA on September 19, 2020 as a synchronized international event. All individuals and communities who are catalyzing transformation in the face of ecological, social, economic, health, and climate breakdown are invited to become co-creators of the day. Participation is EASY! Just add your community experience to the map and gather together in a meaningful way to celebrate communities of action and resilience. From growing food to generating renewable energy, nurturing local economies, strengthening social connections, and working for social justice- communities are coming together to build a better world. All those who are working to create a regenerative, resilient and inclusive North America are invited to become co-creators of the day by hosting a virtual or community-based event connected to this network of communities in action. Participation is easy- simply determine an authentic and meaningful event that you’d like to host that you feel supports a regenerative, just, thriving world. This can be virtual or in-person, small or large, simple or elaborate.
