Bike sharing in the U.S. has come a long, long way in the past few years and it shows no signs of slowing down. From Denver's B-cycle (which was the first program in a major city) to New York's Citibike, from Chicago's Divvy to San Francisco's Bay Area Bike Share, more than 30 cities (and counting!) are now on the bike-sharing bandwagon. Simply put, bike sharing is good for cities and their residents. And, as more programs crop up, the hope is that more protected bike lanes will, as well. If Minneapolis and Nashville can do it...
