Anyone who’s moved to a big, seemingly unforgiving city is familiar with how hard it is to meet your people, community, tribe, or however else you choose to describe the group of folks you surround yourself with whom you share your sensibility, interests and ambitions. When web developer and Indyhall co-founder Alex Hillman moved to Philadelphia, he had a tough time finding other people who shared his techie passions. But through coworking and meetups, Hillman was able to find his tribe in his own backyard, instead of having to escape to the geek-friendly environs of San Francisco.
