Alan Williams

I am the community manager for Neighborland in New Orleans. I think the recovery from the flood really changed the way I think about the world around me. Our city is what we make it, and that has been true all along. I am interested in how we can cultivate a conversation about our future that is not only more inclusive, but more effective. Every generation, people work to make their community a more just, prosperous, and beautiful place. I want Neighborland to help start conversations between those who dedicate their time and energy to improving their community, and those that want to get involved but aren't sure how--and maybe even those folks that haven't really thought about it before.
