10 ways to support Shareable

Amidst the slow drip of never-ending social, economic, and ecological crises, it can be easy to feel powerless.

Shareable’s weekly reporting about people-powered solutions is an antidote to that powerlessness. We uplift stories that show how we can solve our toughest problems together. Our work highlights the power of cooperation over competition and resilience over resignation.

If that message resonates with you, we hope you’ll help us amplify it. Here are 5 meaningful ways to help Shareable empower people-powered solutions.

1. Explore our content

Shareable.net covers the solidarity economy, grassroots solutions, and sharing-based innovation. We also have a ton of great resources: free ebooks, our podcast, over 300 how-to guides, and an archive of 4,500 articles. Help us and help yourself by taking advantage of our work.

Not sure where to start? Our Best of 2022 article is a great place to begin! If you’re new to Cities@Tufts, check out our latest episode with host Julian Agyeman. If you haven’t listened to The Response yet, start with this radio documentary about abortion access and mutual aid.

2. Subscribe and follow

Make sure you don’t miss out on any of Shareable’s great content by subscribing and following us. We share our latest stories, upcoming events, and news from our partners in our biweekly newsletter. Please subscribe or invite your friends to subscribe.

You can also stay up-to-date by following us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, or YouTube.

Finally, if you’ve been sleeping on Shareable’s podcast, The Response, you’re missing out. The Response will be releasing new episodes every other week in 2023. Subscribe on your favorite podcast app so you don’t miss an episode.

3. Share with friends

One of the best ways to expand the reach of our content is by sharing it with friends. You can ask friends to subscribe to our newsletter. You can share our posts, tag us with related content, and comment on social media. It sounds so easy – but every share expands our reach and helps us inspire more people to action.

As you may have read, we will launch two new projects in 2023. Recommend us to a grantmaker, philanthropist, conference organizer, or workshop convener. Your connection could help make these projects a reality.

4. Leave us feedback

Has an article on Shareable inspired you to make a difference in your community? Have you used one of our how-to guides to start a new project? We want to hear about it! Email us a brief story about Shareable’s impact on you or your community. Include your name and location plus title and organization if relevant: info@shareable.net

You can also leave a rating or review for The Response on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Stitcher. Or leave a rating or review for Cities@Tufts on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Stitcher.

5. Donate

Shareable is a nonprofit, and we rely on supporters like you to keep our content free and independent.  If you like what you see, please make a gift – even $5 or $20 makes a difference.
