Russ is a co-founder of CivicSponsor and a proponent of greater citizen involvement in local government. Before making it his mission to create a better way to fund public projects, he practiced tax law in Silicon Valley and saw that changes needed to be made to public funding systems. He is a three-time startup founder, a member of the Full Circle Fund, a proud Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, and a member of the One Percent Foundation.
