John Boik is founder of the Principled Societies Project and author of "Creating Sustainable Societies: The Rebirth of Democracy and Local Economies." Dr. Boik received a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from the University of Texas, Health Sciences Center, Houston, and completed postdoctoral work at Stanford University, Department of Statistics.
