Jessica co-founded Getaround (www.getaround.com), a Silicon Valley startup that is pioneering the concept of peer-to-peer car sharing. Getaround enables individuals to rent out their personal vehicles and individuals who need a car to rent one from someone nearby. Think: Airbnb for cars.
Prior to launching Getaround, she completed the Graduate Studies Program at Singularity University, a new program launched by Ray Kurzweil, Peter Diamandis, NASA, and Google that focuses on inspiring a cadre of leaders to address humanity's grand challenges.
Jessica also worked for the Government of Canada for a number of years, as a political aide to the Minister of International Cooperation and as a writer in a branch of the Prime Minister’s Office.
Jessica is the youngest member of the Women’s Executive Network, as well as, Founder and CEO of IDEAL (www.idealmesh.com), a not-for-profit network for entrepreneurs and young leaders.
