Engineer and small business owner with interests in open web standards, distributed systems, and audio and music software. I have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and minor in Math from Colorado State University (1993), did hardware and systems engineering for a few years, owned a small business designing and building professional audio products, then from 1997-2010 worked as a senior software engineer for a satellite communications equipment manufacturer. I also own a music store and sound company in San Diego, occasionally take on software consulting work, and just for fun produce music and DJ (styles ranging from Future Jazz, Deep House, Electro, and Ambient to old-school Techno, Breaks and Jungle). Other interests: Architecture, Buddhism, Yoga and Capoeira.
