The Santa Cruz Grows Seed Library is located in the Live Oak Public Library on Portola Drive at 26th Avenue. Folks can borrow six packets of seeds per person per season. Our goal is to stock the Library drawers with locally-adapted varieties.

TimeBank Santa Cruz is a network of folks who help each other by sharing skills and talents using units of time as currency. It's a sustainable economies best-practice.

This activity is a Toss the Ball of Yarn game. Folks standing in a circle name the task they need help with and toss the yarn to whomever can oblige. A web of connections is woven.

The Sharing movement in Santa Cruz is vibrant and growing. TimeBank Santa Cruz is a network of folks who help each other by sharing tasks, skills and talents using units of time as currency. We have a Giving Circle and a Tool Lending Library within the TimeBank and just sponsored our first Little LIbrary. The TimeBank is three years old, has about 80 active members and has become a well-loved and respected local resilience builder.
