I'm lucky to live in Boulder CO. It feels like a resort to me, so what I do to enjoy myself here is exactly what I would do on a vacation. Other than missing the ocean, I never have the urge to leave. I like to grab some iced coffee and go people-watch in the center of town, on the Pearl Street Mall. It's closed off to cars, so there are lots of outdoor cafes, shops, street performers, benches, and so on.
