Ending our first week of 2012, it's good to take a few minutes and get some distance from our homes, cities, countries, even the planet. Using pictures from NASA's International Space Station stitched together into a video, this video celebrates the new year with a (very) outside perspective on how Earth's inhabitants live. Every point of light is a product of the collaboration of literally millions of bodies. It's a good framing device for thinking about sharing in the year to come.
