Bikelordz is a documentary film about the bicycle culture in Accra, Ghana that the youth have invented out of whole cloth. Riding tricked-out BMX's, the young riders have created a way of life amid a poverty-sticken urban landscape. The documentary follows the cyclists as they try to make a living off their sick bike tricks and pass the culture down to a younger generation. The filmmakers are soliciting donations on Kickstarter to finish the documentary, provide gear for the riders and bring them to the U.S. to shoot a second film. Check out the trailer below:
